After installing the Thirtyseven4 Endpoint Security Console, the next step is to access the Endpoint Security Console web page to begin deployment and administration.


When accessing the web page, the following error may be received:


HTTP Error 500.19 – Internal Server Error
The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.


This is a result of the default process identity within IIS 7.0 not having sufficient permissions to open the Web.config file.


To Resolve the IIS 500.19 error, please follow these steps:


1. Open the Internet Information Service Manager( Click Start -> In the start search box type inetmgr -> Press Enter) 


2.  In to the left plane (connections), expand the Server Node and then expand Sites.


3. Within Sites, select the EPS console web serverXXX 


4. In the Right Pane (Edit Site), click on Basic Settings > Connect as and select “Application user ” ( Pass-through-authentication.)


5. Once the setting is adjusted, right-click on EPS console web serverXXX > Manage Website > Restart


6. Open a new browser and navigate to the Thirtyseven4 EPS Console web page.
