Due to a security setting within the Gmail account being used for the Endpoint Security Console you may not be able to set up Gmail SMTP settings for Thirtyseven4. Please use the following to steps to resolve this.


  1. Login to your google account and go to Security.
  2. Turn On 2-step Verification.
  3. Once 2-step verification is completed go to App password settings. This is found under the 2-Step Verification
  4. Select App and choose “others”
  5. Name the app what ever you would like.
  6. One password will get generated specifically for that application
  7. Navigate to your EPS Console webpage
  8. Open Admin Setting>Server>SMTP settings
  9. Add SMTP Server, Port, Notify from email can be whatever you would like then checkmark the the Server Authentication check box for Username enter the email account and for password paste the unique password created for this application. Make sure User Authentication Method is set to SSL. Your settings will look similar to the below image.
  11. Click apply and then Test your settings by sending a test email to whatever email account you want to check.
