For other mobile devices and tablets, the connection mode in which they are connected to the system determines how the device will be detected by the system.
If any mobile phone/device is connected to the system in USB mode, then it will be detected under "Removable Storage" on the system and can be controlled by " Storage Devices > USB Storage Devices" device type in Device Control.
If the same mobile phone/device is connected to the system in MTP/PTP mode, then it will be detected under "Portable Devices" on the same system and will be enumerated as " Windows Portable Devices". Therefore, it can now be controlled by "Mobile & Portable Devices > Windows Portable Devices" device type in Device Control.
