Enumeration and blocking of Android and Windows Mobile phones/devices depends on the connection mode in which they are connected to the system.

For example, if an Android or a Windows mobile phone/device is connected to the system in USB mode, then it will be detected under "Removable Storage" on the system and can be controlled by " Storage Devices > USB Storage Devices" device type in Device Control.

If the same mobile phone/device is connected to the system in MTP/PTP mode, then it will be detected under "Portable Devices" on the same system and will be enumerated as " Windows Portable Devices". Therefore, it can now be controlled by "MObile & Portable Devices > Windows Portable Devices" device type in Device Control.
